New Links

February 25, 2007 / by iconodulist

I've added some links on this blog. The 1rst is the travel blog of a friend of mine who's in South America right now, the 2nd is an interesting Catholic humour blog and the 3rd is the site of the religious order I want to join (yes, I want to be a nun).

Good Night (or morning, depending on what you count 2am as) and
A Joyful Lenten Season.

Thanks for your prayers. You can check out the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate on my third favorite down. I especially love the motto of the first Sister Servant and co-foundress, Bl. Josaphata Hordashevska, "to serve where the need is greatest". It's at the heart of my vocational calling and I need to remember it more.

Where I lived in Argentina, we were very close to a Monastery of this order, and my grandma would always go and volunteer for whatever they needed.. I have child's memories when many of them came to pray the Rosary when my grandma died, and hid in the casket (there, it is forbidden to put anything inside it) The Miraculous Virgin's medal.. I always carry one with me, and I attribute to Mary an immense miracle in my family.. Congratulations again, Emiliy, God bless you, gab [HEART]

I wonder how you can get more visitors, my Roman Ukrainian Greek Catholic friend...
Also, a nice start to a blog, better than mine...

You having an imperialist complex does not make me Roman! (roman maybe, but NOT Roman) [TONGUE]

Well, is your Church in union with the Bishop of Rome? Is the Ukrainian-Greek Church in union with Rome or with Byzantium, Moscow, Alexandria, Jerusalem or Antioch? Of which of the five classical and one purported modern Patriarchal Sees are you in union? Also, was it the Bishop of Rome who asked for the union or did your Church ask to unite with the Bishop of rome after it had found something unsatisfactory about its relationship with its Greek heritage? If the later, we are not imperialists.
